SaffronSage™
SaffronSage™ is Saffron’s answer to Predictive Intelligence. It is a customizable application service that encapsulates a number of core capabilities for prognostics and other forms of prediction. Applications for SaffronSage™ tend to be very domain-specific; as a result, they are offered through partners in various industries. Examples include logistics and prognostics in military applications and in Oil and Gas. For example, Saffron suggests logistics actions according to predicted outcomes, estimated times of arrival and more, all based on experience.
SaffronSage™ is also being used to learn precursor events in a multi-variate time series to predict critical events such as gas “kicks” during oil production. Saffron memories also support spatial prediction by representing inter-object co-locations rather than just inter-entity co-mentions.
Given even one snapshot of a pattern of objects, SaffronSage™ can predict missing objects and their locations or alert to unusual objects and locations never seen before in prior patterns. Such function is useful in geospatial intelligence, Oil and Gas exploration, and the future of location-based services in mobile devices.
Unlike conventional predictive analytics, Saffron’s approach, entity-network predictive analytics, captures the complex relationships between networks of networks in the real world.
