SA101 SaffronAnalyst™ Essentials - 1 day

Prerequisite:  None
Who should attend? All End Users of SaffronAnalyst™.

This course teaches users how SaffronAnalyst works by via an interactive discussion combined with hands-on training.  SaffronAnalyst is a thin-client, Web 2.0 enterprise application that provides a suite of analytic tools for processing and investigating intelligence data. The training curriculum addresses querying large stores of disparate data, navigating results identified from user defined queries, collecting and managing investigative cases and exporting collections for use in desktop tools such as i2’s Analyst’s Notebook, Overwatch Technology’s Axis Pro, Microsoft Office, and geospatial intelligence tools.

SA201 Saffron Associative Memory Concepts – ½ day

Prerequisite:  SA101 SaffronAnalyst™ Essentials
Who should attend? Analysts, Management, Developers

This course presents concepts used behind the scenes of SaffronAnalyst to identify the known and unknown associations between People, Places and Things.   Students are introduced to Saffron’s associative memory technology and its capabilities.

SA202 The Analytical Process - ½ day

Prerequisite: SA101 SaffronAnalyst Essentials; SA201 Associative Memory Concepts
Who should attend? Analysts, Management

This course reviews recommended methodologies for conducting data discovery, developing themes for clarified results, exporting to an analytic toolset, and manipulating the data within the toolset to define the established relationships from the investigation conducted with SaffronAnalyst.  Most users are accustomed to very structured analytic processes. SaffronAnalyst unleashes users from data and processes bound by traditional methods, enabling them to quickly leverage all the data in their analytic process. This course will help adopt new analytic approaches to optimize intelligence results with SaffronAnalyst.

ST101 Saffron Administration Essentials – 2 days

Prerequisite: SA101 SaffronAnalyst Essentials
Who should attend? System Administrators for SaffronAnalyst and SaffronEnterprise™

This course guides administrators through the process of setting up and running a Saffron system. Topics discussed include data integration, configuration and ongoing management of your system.  Students will leave with the ability to setup and manage a Saffron multi-node cluster.
