Class Descriptions

Saffron Concepts
This class provides students with an introduction to Saffron’s associative memory technology and it’s capabilities. The first day we introduce the technology, products and problems that can be solved. The second day, we provide exercises so that everyone walks away with an understanding of the installation and design process.

SaffronWeb™
One day of training on Saffron’s flagship application: SaffronWeb™. Training includes one hour of lecture on foundational concepts and then a series of instructor led, hands-on exercises. The exercises address: Querying, Navigating Results, Collecting and Exporting Findings, and Advanced Techniques. The training is wrapped up with a practical exercise in which students use SaffronWeb™ to solve an analysis problem. Each student must provide their own laptop with Firefox 2.0, Internet Explorer 7.0 or Internet Explorer 6.0. The laptop must also have a Java Virtual Machine (version 1.5+).

Saffron Programming
This class provides students with an understanding of Saffron’s API. The class is structured to walk though the process of writing custom applications using Saffron’s major APIs. Each student must provide their own laptop with Firefox 2.0, Internet Explorer 7.0 or Internet Explorer 6.0. The laptop must also have a JDK (version 1.5+), your favorite Java IDE.
